The Embassy of Portugal is monitoring the developments of Hurricane Ian, which will progress across the state of Florida.

We recommend all nationals who are in the state to follow the instructions of local authorities and stay in a safe place. We ask special attention to the evacuation notices already in place. We remind you that regional airports will be temporarily closed.

To track the hurricane's progress, we recommend consulting the National Hurricane Center.
